What is it indicated for?
The DermAssist™ Hydrocolloid Dressings are intended to provide optimal environments ideally suited for chronic wound management. The dressings are soft, conformable hydrocolloid dressings for moderate to light exuding wounds. The dressings react with wound moisture to form a gelatinous mass providing a moist healing environment. The hydrocolloid gel also helps to reduce the potential for tissue damage during dressing changes. Due to their highly conformable nature, the DermAssist™ Hydrocolloid Dressings may be used in areas difficult to dress such as the coccyx area, around joints, heels, elbows and other body contours difficult to cover with conventional dressings.
Indications for use read by OCR from a scanned FDA summary, so letters may be misread. Check the PDF before quoting it.
